We’ll start here, however, first I would like for you to forgo the notion that do-it-yourself projects have to be tacky. They really can be at times, but if you have a clear cut modern take on it, they really don’t have to be. While do-it-yourself furniture can’t really compare to the art that furniture designers create, nor the quality; it is possible to create something beautiful inspired by it.
